Responsible Gaming

You will find practical, general advice on this page about gambling sensibly, along with a plain account of what this site can and cannot do to help you. Read both parts before you follow any link to an operator.

Before You Start

Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat that amount as already gone the moment you commit to it. Deciding in advance removes the pressure of making a financial judgment in the middle of play, when you are less likely to think clearly. Once that amount is used, stop: chasing a loss by spending more to recover it usually leads to a larger loss, not a smaller one, because the outcome of the next bet has no connection to what came before it.

Keep gambling money separate from money you need for anything else, and never draw on borrowed money to fund it. Gambling with money you cannot afford to lose changes what is meant to be entertainment into a financial risk you did not plan for. Taking regular breaks during play, and stepping away entirely for a day or longer, gives you a chance to notice whether you are still enjoying it or simply continuing out of habit.

If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, or starts affecting your time, mood or money in ways you did not intend, talk to someone about it early rather than waiting. A friend, family member, or one of the independent organisations listed below can help you think through what is happening while it is still a small problem.

Age Restriction

This site states, on its front page and at the end of every operator listing, that it is intended only for readers aged eighteen and over. That restriction is repeated throughout the build, but no age is verified on this site: any check of that kind happens at the destination you reach after following an operator link.

Help Organisations Linked Here

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au, and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

Where Account Controls Live

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one. If you want any of those controls, you arrange them inside an account at the destination you reach after following an operator link, where the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply.

What Happens After You Leave

Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site. Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing on this site is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.
